The New Normal
Updated: May 9, 2020
What a strange world we live in these days. Confined to our homes, we're learning much more about ourselves than perhaps we ever wanted to. Some of us choose to lay low, hiding from the world through Netflix and long hours spent in bed. Others dream of what will happen WTIAO (When This Is All Over), where we'll go, what we'll do, who we'll do it with. I feel like I've already been on a long (albeit stationary) journey, a journey of ups and downs, twists and turns, highs and lows, skipping and jumping at times, gnashing my teeth and crying at others. So in these times when we're unable to travel and see friends and family, feel the joy of jumping into the cool Aegean waters, eat that spicy chilli in Bangkok that brings tears to the eyes, climb those dunes to see the unbearably beautiful desert sunrise, I've decided to share my wanderings, ramblings and musings here. Starting a travel blog at a time when we can't travel seems like as good a time as any. So please come along for the ride, and discover some of the places I long to return to WTIAO.
